Heatwave Harvest - June 24, 2012

It's official - our very first harvest at Darling Farm. A big beautiful bunch of hon tsai tai, ready to eat just days after the mid-June heat wave that plowed right over us. Although we were worried about all the young plants in the extreme heat, they soaked it up. The salad greens especially seemed to double in size in two days.
